The Bishkek City Court upheld the decision of the first instance on the recovery of compensation in the amount of 300,000 thousand soms in favor of the victims of torture in the high-profile case in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya.
The court did not satisfy the appeal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, which asked to reduce the amount of compensation.
Recall that in 2013, three minors (at the time of the crime), while in The Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, were subjected to torture and bullying by the staff of the institution.
